About Me

My name is Cleo Chappell. Chances are you will accidentally call me Chloe- I get this a lot so I usually do not make the effort to tell people otherwise- but it is Cleo, like Cleopatra. I love being outdoors so basically any activity that gets with there I will enjoy. My current favorite pastime is tennis. I started tennis club last semester. Before that, I played soccer for Trinity (soccer being another favorite). For eight years of my life, I swam competitively, and I still enjoy most water sports and the beach! Which leads me to say that I am from Petaluma, California about 15 miles from the ocean. It is nestled between Sonoma Mountain and some rolling coastal mountains about 35 miles north of San Fransisco- just far enough away that the people are not rich snobs, and close enough that they are not hics or crazies. Over the summer, I rode up Sonoma Mountain on my bike a fair number of times.

When I am not outside, I love love love to read. Especially epic fantasies. Currently, I am re-reading the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King for the third time. While I read, my secret indulgent music is Enya. This way I can sail away into a dream (pun intended). Although I like to tinker with photos on the computer, my overall skills are lacking. When I told my parents that the final project for the class is to design a website, they said that I will have grown in their eyes and might finally have some use. Basically, it is time to learn.

  2. We share a love of Tolkien and Enya - I have The Celts playing in my office most of the time, and I used to read the Trilogy every summer. Welcome, Cleo, glad you are in our class!
